Meet your coach
I'm Maxine Golden, Parent Coach and Clinical Director of the Center for Parent Coaching. For over 25 years I've worked with foster, adoptive and court-involved families. My work draws on trauma-informed, somatic and attachment-based approaches, including Brainspotting, play therapy, TBRI and Polyvagal Theory.
I'm also an adoptive parent myself. I know this journey from the inside, not just from my work, and that shapes everything I teach.
In this group, I'll help you understand what your child's behavior is telling you, and give you simple ways to respond that build trust instead of power struggles.

When does the group meet?
Every Wednesday at 8pm Eastern. You can join in person at our office at 710 Oakfield Dr in Brandon, FL, or online on Zoom, whichever works for your family. Each session is 60 minutes, and the program runs for 16 weeks. The first group starts Wednesday, January 20, 2027.
What if I miss a session?
You'll get the session notes, and the teaching recording is available for 24 hours after each session. After that, the recording is taken down, so be sure to watch it within the day.
Can I cancel?
Yes. You can cancel anytime.
Is this therapy?
